Creation is my life-long affair. 
It’s a place I go to within to quench my thirst,
listen, get dirty, rest, organize chaos,
and touch something I can’t put a finger on

yet feel its subtle texture, distinctly.

 

In December 2023, I was done keeping hidden what has been 

one of my many little secrets. 
It was a Now or Never moment, and so I did.
I hosted an experience, an Art Gala for the world to

"Behold: A Body of Art."

It showcased my collection of unintentional collages a decade in the making, along with poetry gave longings a space to dwell,

and a short film as an ode to an art form that allowed me

to figure out more of myself and commune with what has always touched me.
 

Since my beginning, whenever I'm quiet,

I'm actually wildly dreaming. I have big, detailed visions.
Yet, when it comes to making a collage
I have not plans when I sit with my scissors and glue.

Instead, I offer by full attention

 to be intimate with what is before and stirring within me. 
It's more of a blind date than a master plan.
At the end of our time, I'm face-to-face a desire, have unearthed a dream, captured an essence, teased out a facet of my personality,

and feel the gravity of being taken by devotion.

More than a collage, I experience each one as a Muse. 
Each with multiply meanings and suggestions not always easily understood.
To know her fully, she requires your time.

As a collection, it's an ever evolving body of art sourced solely

from everything arising within. 

Moved by everything beyond reason and full of God,

-- the fruit of an Erotic Heart. 

 

I stumbled into the Art of Adornment by fortune

that I didn't initial appreciate the value of. 

With time, it all fits like an audacious slipper.

I've long seen and explored the body as impeccable work of art. 

It's only fitting to drape it with prayers of gold

and tokens of precious stones and pearls.
 

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  

May you see something buried within, a reflection of your heart,

or a sense known by your soul

And, sink more in love with yourself and the Creation within you.
